Few people realize that the income from ticket sales provides only
a fraction of the income needed in our annual operating budget to produce the SSO's outstanding
concert season. Our support must come from other sources, including sustaining memberships, company contributions,
support for special fund-raising events, program advertising, sponsorships, and foundation and government support.
If you would like to support the SSO, please consider making a donation, becoming a >sustaining member, or making a contribution to our
endowment funds.

Endowment funds contribute to the long-term financial health of the Symphony, allowing us to continue to provide a diverse and excellent program as well as continuing our support of community promoting events. There are two types of Endowment Funds: one in which the income and increase in value of the investment are used to support designated activities of the SSO, and funds used to support the operating expenses of the orchestra.
If you'd like more information about making a contribution to the endowment, please call the Schenectady Symphony at 518-372-2500. Thank You!
