~ CALL FOR PHOTOS ~ Hidden Gems: Mohawk Valley Vistas Join the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra as we create an afternoon of music and vision in celebration of the Mohawk Valley communities
You can be a part of it! Here’s how:
The Schenectady Symphony Orchestra is calling for your photographs to be used in a four-minute BRAND-NEW work of photochoreography in our opening concert of the 2008-2009 season. We’re looking for photos of people, community features, architecture and nature in Schenectady, Southern Saratoga County, and the Mohawk Valley as far west as Amsterdam and Fultonville. Your photos will be sent to nationally-known photochoreographer James Westwater for possible use in a new piece to be premiered at our October 19, 2008 concert, set to the music of Union College professor and composer Hilary Tann’s “Adirondack” (the first movement of Sarsen).
