Sponsorship Opportunities

Few cities of our size can boast of having a symphony, let alone one as accomplished as the Schenectady Symphony. Over our 76-year history, the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra has remained a vital force for the continued growth of the region. Our musicians live and work here, helping to enhance the quality of life, making Schenectady a more attractive option for homeowners, businesses and students. Your support of this experience as a corporate sponsor will help you:
  • invest in your community – and in musicians who live and work here
  • create a thriving arts district in downtown Schenectady – a place to work and play
  • celebrate a piece of Schenectady history’s -- and Schenectady’s future
Only a small portion of our annual income is derived from ticket sales. We would be unable to continue without the support of local businesses that sponsor a portion of a season, or a concert. In addition to the very real, but intangible, benefit of contributing to the quality of life here in the Capital Region, our sponsors may receive the following tangible benefits:
  • Recognition in our Season Brochure (distribution 8,000, across Capital Region)
  • Recognition in our newsletter (distribution 1,000, across Capital Region)
  • Recognition in select marketing materials (including ads, fliers, radio mentions, news releases), the program page of the concert program, and our website
  • Live music by a small SSO ensemble at a company function
  • Ad in season program book
  • CEO message and photo in program book
  • An acknowledgement from the stage
  • Banner or sign hung in the Arcade during concerts
Sponsorships are available in many amounts, from a full-season sponsorship at $5,000 to a partial concert sponsorship for $750. Our audience includes active community members from all over the Capital Region, families, musicians and business leaders. For more information call us at 372-2500 or email us at sso2@verizon.net.
