Misery Loves Company

Mark your calendar TODAY to join BEAT BEETHOVEN! the Capital District’s first and best 5K run that supports the arts.  Dig out your running shoes, dust off your sweats, and plan to race along to the thundering sounds of Beethoven’s mighty Symphony No. 5.  Cross the finish line before the music ends and you’ll win a free ticket to the Schenectady Symphony’s opening concert on October 30, 2016.

Fun for runners and walkers of all abilities, with age group prizes and t-shirt contests.  The course is fast and flat, for runners looking to set a PR.  There’s enough time for non-runners to get fit:  try the Couch to 5K program.

Misery loves company – it’s more fun with a team! Last year 250 people registered to race the music. We hope to see more this year. Register online – only $20 till September 14.

With special thanks to our sponsors, WMHT-FM, Vent Fitness, Stewarts Shops, Berkshire Bank,Lia Auto Group, Price Chopper, CDPHP, SI Group, NBT Bank, State Farm – Amy Aldrich and Mohawk Ambulance! We couldn’t do it without you!
